It is time for us to have our May Walk. The meeting address for the Garden Walk is 325 A Street SE.  We will see two gardens that are very different but have no fence between. One of the gardens has been written up for its natural beauty. Wondering about native plants for small gardens?  Our May Walk will feature a small garden filled with native plants.

We will then proceed to the 600 block of A Street NE to see Vira’s garden. A combination of two neighbors working together to beautify their small spaces. These are certainly must see gardens.  Our journey will continue as we wander over to a garden that was mostly installed by our Capitol Hill Garden Club, under the leadership of Vira Sisolak, at the phone company building on 7th and Constitution. This will be exciting as we consider the possibilities of future Club gardening projects.

Finally, we will then visit three gardens on the 600 block of Constitution Avenue, ending at 611 Constitution Avenue for refreshments. I am sure this will be a great way to become inspired as we greet a new garden season.

Don't forget to bring your camera or phone!! Let's capture the beauty of Capitol Hill!
